	Mohammad Rafi the great music legend passed away on 31st July 1980 i.e. its been 20 years since we have lost him. but his voice still is being heard in our ears. He's left behind a rich legacy -- of songs sung by him over 35 years.

	Mukesh Chandra Mathur was born on 22nd July, 1923, in Delhi. He was inclined towards acting and music from a very young age and was an ardent admirer of Kundan Lal Saigal. For Mukesh, his relative, the character actor Motilal spotted his talent and took him to Bombay and engaged a music teacher for him to hone his talent as a singer.
