But they are full of enthusiasm capable of hard work and completely devoted to dance. In spite of their hectic day-to-day life, many of them sacrifice personal comforts and teach dance-may be of various standards but they usually project to the local public the beauty of Bharata Natya and other classical India dance. And now coming back to our own home land-many senior and junior dancers compose new dance items after referring to ancient books.

We find today thus many of our internationally famous dancers presenting unique Varnam-s, thillana-s and Padam-s in their repertoire. It is indeed an aesthetic treat to witness such performances which are full of innovations, depth of emotions, excellent rhythmic patterns all performed with complete involvement. Only a dance teacher can understand the tremendous hard work that is put in by these artists in the composition of these creations. Talking of dance teachers, there are some who have delved deep into Sanskrit, Kannada and other literature and created beautiful dances are devoid of all the unnecessary flourishes and experiments mentioned earlier. Considering all these facts, one can categorically say that there is definitely a very bright future for Indian classical dances.

The incorporation of new ideas within the frame work of tradition is indeed a tremendous advance in Indian dances. The spurious dance forms die a natural death, but the real gems of dance shine brighter and brighter. Therein lies the glorious future of Indian dance.
