The painter who uses cloth, paper, wall, different colours and brushes should know the intricacies and restrictions of all these media; similarly in all other varieties of fine arts. If we think of all these implications we can safely conclude that an artist is a special gifted creation of god. An artist has many qualities which are not found in ordinary humans the chief of which is the creative impulse. Along with his creative impulse, he should have the patience and intelligence to bring it forward. Some artists get inspiration from some particular object and create a work of art.  Some others become excellent artists by sheer hard work and perseverance.

As such, these artists and their creations are often subject to time, place and particular event and tradition. A great artist of any country is a unique super being to be loved and praised. Therefore a society without any art is devoid of peace and happiness. Life without art is insipid and useless. The greatness and fundamental importance of a country depends on its culture, art, science and religion. In almost all the countries of Europe, there are many sculptures pertaining to religion. In the ancient Greek and Roman culture we find many mythological Sculptures. In Egypt, there are sculptures depicting the lives and loves of the Pharaohs or the Living gods.

Similarly, in India we find in all the Fine Arts, many religious and mythological themes. India is a land well-known for its ancient great culture. India has a unique place in the comity of nations because we have in our country, equal rights for the followers of all religions, namely, Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Jain, Buddhist, Hebrew and others and they live together in comparative harmony.  The Hindu temple of Halebid, Belur, Chidambaram, Madhurai, Tanjavoor, the Muslim monuments like the Taj Mahal, Fatehpur Sikri Kutub Minar etc.
