	Rajasthan : The people of Rajasthan are brave and warrior-like full of dignity and self-respect. They are hard working and yet simple folk at heart. Theirs is a desert land where hard work is absolutely essential. The people always live in hope having tremendous enduring power. These desert people have unique sense of rhythm, intricate movements and clever patterns.

Ghumar : This is the most important traditional dance of Rajasthan performed during happy days and 'Navarathri' festival. The ladies hold sticks in their hand or sometimes wielding swords dance gracefully with subtle bends and turns. Rarely do men and women dance together. Jhumer : This represents 'Garba' of Gujarat or the 'Kummi' or Kerala and it is performed during the festival of 'Teej' in Udaipur and Jaipur.
