Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia - Bansuri Flute
Hariprasad Chaurasia has taken the simple bamboo flute to heights of musical sophistication never seen before. His playing unravels a gamut of musical images that range from the enchanting to the hauntingly melancholic. Born in Allahabad, Pandit Chaurasia had his early training from Pandit Bholanath Bhatt of Varanasi.

Later he traveled to Bombay, to study with Smt. Annapurna Devi, daughter of the legendary Ustad Allaudin Khan. His control and rapport with his instrument have made him the unsurpassed standard.
