Kanjira :
A small tambourine-like instrument with copper or bronze discs on the frame. It has only one skin of goat or lizard. It is held in the left hand and struck with the fingers and palm of the right hand.

Duff :
This is a much bigger version of the kanjira and is struck either with the hand or a stick.
