Shama and friends, the band was formed in 1994. We are based in U.K. The basic set-up of the band is three musicians and two/three singers. On occasion, this set-up has been increased to include more singers or musicians.
As a band, we have been instrumental in helping to change the mehfil scene in U.K. to one which reaches a wider audience.
Mehfils are no longer for a limited audience and nor do they mean
